Cyden Homes Helping First Time Buyers Onto The Housing Ladder
Locally-based award-winning Cyden Homes have generously decided to support the Government’s drive to help First Time Buyers onto the housing ladder.
Whilst the Government-assisted Help to Buy scheme is available to all qualifying buyers, and has given new home buyers a fantastic boost over the last few years, saving for the deposit required to buy a home is still an entry barrier for most first time buyers.
The Chancellor outlined proposals in his Autumn Statement for the Help to Buy ISA to substantially reward first time buyers who were saving for their deposit. Available through most major lenders, the Help to Buy ISA is already proving a winner with future house buyers. “Nearly every financial commentator is saying that this saving scheme is a no-brainer for anyone thinking about buying their first home in the future” said Peter Bond, Sales Director for Cyden Homes “so on the back of this, Cyden Homes have decided reward first time buyers even more with their Help to Buy ISA Bonus scheme”
In essence, Cyden Homes have decided that on all of their developments, any First Time Buyer who buys one of their brand-new homes using the Help to Buy ISA savings as a deposit, will also get a Cyden Homes Bonus of either £1000 on a 2 bedroom house or £2000 on a 3 bedroom home or £3000 on a four or five bedroom home.
“It’s been proven for over two years now that it’s cheaper to buy than to rent” continued Peter “but the whole time someone is pouring dead money into a rental, the less they can put aside to build a deposit to buy a home. By combining the new build Help to Buy scheme and the Help to Buy ISA and now, the Cyden Homes ISA bonus scheme, the deposit required to get on to the housing ladder has never been lower in recent years”
With the new lower Stamp Duty charges for smaller properties as well, there really has never been a better or cheaper time to enter the housing market for first time buyers.
Cyden Homes are currently offering 2 and 3 bedroom starter homes on their new development at The Quarter in the grounds of Diane, Princess of Wales Hospital with Help to Buy prices starting from £87960 for qualifying buyers where the deposit required to buy a new home will now start from less than £5000.
Cyden Homes are also offering the scheme on all other developments in the area, including the last homes at Pelham Heights and Springfield Meadows in Scartho, Par 3 at Humberston, Ellen Way in New Waltham and Pingley Park near Brigg. Details of the scheme and all current availability can be found in the Help To Buy section on our Buying Your New Home page or by calling the Head Office Sales Department on 01472 278003.
