Technical Administrator

Cyden Homes are seeking a Technical Administrator to undertake the day to day admin requirements of the Technical Department.

Skills required:

  • Excellent organizational skills and time management
  • Team player with active involvement in the technical department and wider workforce to meet overall company targets
  • Have good IT skills including Microsoft Word/Excel and ideally Auto Cad (but not essential as training shall be given)
  • The ability to manage workload, identify specific priorities and meet targets
  • High attention to detail and ability to communicate where improvements to systems could be made
  • Full UK Driving License

Job Specifics:

  • The control, management, issue and recording of working drawings/specifications to site
  • Manage and maintain digital and paper copy filing systems for the technical department
  • Liaison with site and internal departments for the issue of information and drawings
  • Liaison with Local Authorities for street naming and numbering applications
  • Assist in the management of Building Regulations applications and registrations
  • Obtain and manage the issue of completion certificates, warranties and compliance certificates
  • To provide general administration duties to the technical and construction departments

Pay dependent on experience

Full Time Position (Monday to Friday)

Customer Care Co-ordinator

Cyden Homes are looking for an experienced Customer Care Co-ordinator who will be responsible for co-ordinating the Cyden Homes customer care maintenance team, whilst ensuring the Customer Care database is being maintained and contractors are being pursued to ensure all works are booked in without delay, ensuring our customers receive a professional, consistent service throughout their warranty period.

Skills required: -

  • Flexibility – the role requires the ability to work in an adaptive and fast-moving fluid environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Excellent time management & work planning skills.
  • High attention to detail and a keen eye for improvement
  • The ability to manage own and others workload.
  • Sound knowledge of the building/construction trade. (Desirable but not essential)
  • IT literate (Excel level 3 desirable) with experience of data reporting.
  • To log work on database (EQUE2) and allocate to sub-contractors upon receipt (desirable but training will be given).
  • To ensure that all contractors book in works in-line with Cyden Standard.
  • To keep customer updated on progress of works if delays occur.
  • Ensure all works are completed within 14 days.
  • Record Snag & Handover information upon receipt from Customer Experience Manager for analysis.

Job Specifics: -

  • Good rate of pay.
  • Full in-house training will be provided.
  • Full-time position(s) - (Monday to Friday)
